Bean Bag Program Food Collection At Alderfer Auction in Hatfield through December 12th

Alderfer Auction is hosting a Food Drive in collaboration with The Bean Bag Food Program (Friends of Zion Mennonite Church) to supply local children with weekend bags of shelf-stable, nutritious, kid-friendly food. Community members are invited to drop off high-priority items, which include microwave meals, ready rice, canned goods, applesauce cups, shelf-stable milk, and nut-free snacks. Donations of pre-teen personal care items are also welcome. Items can be dropped off at 501 Fairgrounds Road, Hatfield, PA 19440 during business hours, Monday through Friday thru December 12th.

Furniture entries include a Herman Miller LCW chair by Charles & Ray Eames, Niels Koefoed’s “Lis” teak dining chairs, the Hans Olsen Frem Røjle “Roundette” dining set, and American Mid-Century pieces such as the Broyhill “Brasilia” breakfront and Brasilia serving cart. An Edward Wormley for Dunbar dining table adds another well-known designer to the group.
