American eagle-head sword (circa early 19th century) measuring 38.25" (blade 32.5") exhibiting a Bolton/Upson-style eagle head pommel with full brass backstrap, bone grip and 5-ball hilt and integral 5-ball knuckle bow. Sword presents 1/2 blued blade with eagle and design. Engraved in design "Richards, Upson & Co. New York". Blade exhibits some darkening. Sword lacks scabbard.
