Directoire style chest in a Corinthian walnut finish with speckling and crossbanding, the top with a concave front, and featuring two fluted doors which open to a fitted interior with cubbies and a small drawer, over three graduated drawers, with brass pulls, and raised on tapered square legs. Made by Mount Airy Furniture Co., retailed by John Stuart. Stamped and labeled to the interior and en verso.
