19th century French folding fan decorated to each side with hand painted gouache courting and pastoral scenes framed by a gilt Rococo Revival border, featuring carved and pierced mother of pearl sticks and guards with silvered and gilded floral and foliate details, the rivet set with a faceted citrine.
