Victorian sewing box, c. late 1800’s, wooden box with rosewood veneer, silk lining and mother of pearl inlay decoration with etched name with lift out tray, includes hand carved mother of pearl sewing accessories, cotton reels, pullout needle books, sewing tools with mother of pearl handles, silver thimbles, cut glass bottle with stopper and sterling cap and more. Wear from age and use, some surface hairline cracks in wood veneer, crack in wood bottom interior, includes original key. Measures 6”h x 10”w x 7.75”d
