#1- .526 bore, 9 1/2" octagon bbl, SN602A. 95% thinning brown finish with areas of loss on left side of barrel, good smooth bore, top flat marked WOGDON LONDON, strong lock marked Wogdon holds half and full cock, checkered wood stock shows no handling with brass and blued steel furniture. Good condition. Antique. #2 same as pistol #1 except the finish is 60% brown with areas of loss and mottling. Good condition. Antique. Both pistols come together in fitted wood display case with light blue interior with copper powder flask and brass gun oiler/pot with COA. This set commemorates the famous duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr with a set of English Wogdon dueling pistols owned by Hamilton's brother in law on July 11 1804. Only 1200 set made for the US Historical Society.
