8x22 Nambu, 3 7/8" bbl, SN 49980. 95% blue finish shows general thinning with crude machining, good bore, checkered bakelite grips show average handling, 1-6 rnd magazine. This little pistol got the nick name Surrender gun as it was made with an exposed sear allowing the pistol to fire by simple finger pressure on the exposed sear, 1 missconception was that the pistol was designed this way to be able to fire 1 last shot at the soldier you were surrendering to without being noticed with a finger on the trigger a second nickname it was given was suicide gun because it was thought that in the event the Japanese soldier was mortally wounded or to avoid being captured the soldier could simply squeeze the side of the pistol to cause a self inflicted gunshot wound. Good condition. 24-0896 C&R
