Pair of World War I posters including ; 1.)Poster with text "Clear the Way, Buy Bonds, Fourth Liberty Loan" with image by Howard Chandler Christy featuring a woman in a diaphanous gown waving a United States flag above a naval crew in action at sea. The framed poster measures 29.5" x 19.5" (sight) and is housed in a frame measuring 30" x 20". The fourth liberty loan was issued September 28, 1918. 2.) Poster with text "Before sunset buy a U.S. government bond of the 2nd liberty loan of 1917" with image by Eugenie De Land featuring the Statue of Liberty with the sky in the background illuminated as the United States flag. The framed poster measures 29.5" x 19.5" (sight) and is housed in a frame measuring 30" x 20". Both posters exhibit some slight staining.
