52, 21 1/2" bbl, SN 13642. Cleaned to silver/gray with areas of pitting, very poor deeply pitted bore, left side of receiver shows only partial markings on front section, side plate marked in 3 lines ADDRESS / POULTNEY & TRIMBLE / BALTIMORE U.S.A. above 2 lines marked SMITH'S PATENT / JUNE 23 1857. Left side steel slide bar with incorrect brass saddle ring, flip up rear ladder sight, hinge is moderately loose wood stock and forearm show average handling with older refinish and no inspectors marks. Fair condition. Antique
