PICK UP LOCATION: Villanova, PA 19085 (Address to be disclosed on day of pick up)
The Alderfer staff is at pick up to provide light assistance to ALL of our buyers. Buyers are responsible for bringing help to move and load furniture and other large items. Please be respectful of the home and property at pick up. You are responsible for damage caused directly by you or your help.
WE DO NOT SUPPLY tools or packing materials. Please review all of the photos of your lots so that you are prepared with tools for any necessary disassembly, and enough boxes and packing materials for your purchases.
REMOVAL/PICK-UP OF ITEMS: Successful bidders will be directed to choose a time slot (during the pre-advertised time frame) to pick up their purchases via Appointy.com. Instructions will be included with your invoice.
Pick-up times are scheduled prior to the auction opening so that you are able to make arrangements to remove your purchases during that time. The advertised pick-up times are the only times available for removal of your items. NO REFUNDS will be given should items purchased fail to be picked up during the advertised pick-up time frame.
DELIVERY OPTIONS: Delivery fees are in addition to the total purchase price. If you are in need of your purchase being brought back to Alderfer Auction for pick up at our facility, or would like the item(s) delivered to your home, please call Hayley Schaffer at 267-638-1048 or email Hayley@AlderferAuction.com for the handling and delivery fees for your particular lot(s). Some items, due to their size or weight, may not be eligible for delivery.
Items brought back to the auction center will be held, at no charge, for 1 business day following the pick-up day. For each day thereafter that the item(s) are not picked up a $5.00 per day storage fee will be assessed.
Please call us to arrange these services no later than 24 hours prior to the auction pick-up time so that our staff is prepared with the proper vehicle and supplies needed to pack and transport your purchases. Requests made after staff is on site may not be able to be honored.
All items are sold as-is, where-is. A 15% Buyers Premium is applied to each item. All bidders are required to register for a bidder number in order to bid in Alderfer Online Auctions. Bidders are required to provide a credit card number at the time of registration which will be charged for all winning bids at the conclusion of the auction. Accepted credit cards include VISA and MasterCard.
Once the auction closing time goes into effect the items close at a rate of 5 lots per minute in sequential order unless there is active bidding within the final 3 minutes of the auction and the auto-extended feature is activated.
The auto-extend feature will be activated in the case of bids placed in the last 3 minutes prior to the closing of each lot. This prohibits all sniping software and activity. It is necessary to constantly refresh your browser during the last few minutes of the sale so that you are aware of any lot time extensions, as well as during the time extensions as they will continue to extend in 3 minute intervals until competitive bidding ends.
It is recommended that customers use the maximum bid option to avoid confusion at the close of the sale, however, if two customers place the same maximum amount, the computer will automatically take the first one placed.
