 piece of Bucks County history. Featuring many Early American
  antiques that have been collected\, cared for\, and handed do
 wn by multiple generations dating back to the late 1700’s.
  Family history is linked to Dr. Richard Dingee who purchase
 d Croydon Manor in 1882 from John Swift\, the 2nd owner of th
 e estate. The estate passed through generations\, including c
 urrent family members who grew up there in the 1950’s and 
 1960’s. During that time the estate was owned by Heston an
 d Emma Bailey. Of particular interest in this estate sale\, y
 ou will find a large collection of original paintings by Emm
 a Wells Bailey\, as well as portraits of found in the attic o
 f Croydon Lodge and a portrait of Andrew Jackson commissione
 d by Cuban artist\, Garcia Mata. Several pieces of furniture 
 included in this sale were featured in the Exhibition Hall d
 uring the 1926 Philadelphia sesquicentennial\, including Vict
 orian chairs and Eastlake marble top dresser. Highlights inc
 lude a Japanese Kawai Grand Piano and an Emperor Tall Case C
 lock with moon phase dial. You will find quality furniture t
 hroughout the home including mid-century pieces such as Amer
 ican of Martinsville bedroom set\, Drexel dresser\, Stickley s
