About the Alderfer Auction Company

Located in the rolling hills of upper Bucks County, Franklin Farm (also called Pleasant Valley Farm) was home to five generations of Pennsylvania Dutch Farmers who raised livestock and crops before John & Linda Franklin purchased the property 1992. Over the next several years the Franklins transformed their traditional Pennsylvania-American farm house into the centerpiece of their magnificent Pleasant Valley estate. An architectural designer by trade, John carefully re-crafted Franklin Farm, keeping the key traditional American architectural look while weaving in Old World European design elements. Its unique look and intimate feel have resulted in the property being featured in more than ten different Magazine Covers and Catalog Shoots by nationally renown publications.

This 1860's farmhouse on 37 lush acres is one of Bucks County's finest trophy properties, having the perfect blend of old and new.
