Alderfer Auction & Appraisal is known and respected for experience and knowledge of the marketplace. Our appraisal professionals are trained to give accurate evaluations on virtually anything from art to jewelry to antiques and everyday personal property.

We provide appraisals that are documented with accurate evaluations, inventory listings, detailed descriptions of property, and the location of the item in the home, where applicable.

You can trust an Alderfer appraisal. We pride ourselves on integrity and best practices. All of our appraisers are Graduate Personal Property Appraisers (GPPA), which means they have successfully completed extensive coursework and examinations, and abide by an industry-recognized code of ethics.

We perform our appraisals using Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). The types of valuations recognized in this process are from auction value, orderly liquidation value, fair market value, in-place value, desktop opinion or review and new or used replacement cost value. Whatever the purpose or method, keeping current with the fluctuating marketplace is the key to an accurate and effective appraisal.

Appraisers are available to schedule appointments to review your items and provide written appraisals for a fee. There is no obligation to sell items appraised by Alderfer Auction & Appraisal.
