REMOVAL/PICK-UP OF ITEMS:
Pick-up times are scheduled prior to the auction opening so that you are able to make arrangements to remove your purchases during that time. The advertised pick-up times are the only times available for removal of your items. NO REFUNDS will be given should items purchased fail to be picked up during the advertised pick-up time frame.
Successful bidders will be directed to choose a time slot (during the pre-advertised time frame) to pick up their purchases via Appointy.com. Instructions will be included with your invoice.
WE DO NOT SUPPLY tools or packing materials. PLEASE BRING HELP TO MOVE LARGE ITEMS. You are responsible for damage to property caused directly by you or your help.
DELIVERY AVAILABLE THROUGH ALDERFER AUCTION:
If you are in need of your purchase being brought back to Alderfer Auction for pick up at our facility, or would like the item(s) delivered to your home, please call Dan Angstadt at 215-393-3037 for the handling and delivery fees for your particular lot(s). Some items, due to their size or weight, may not be eligible for delivery.
Items brought back to the auction center will be held, at no charge, for 1 business day following the pick-up day. For each day thereafter that the item(s) are not picked up a $5.00 per day storage fee will be assessed.
Please call us to arrange these services no later than 24 hours prior to the auction pick-up time.
All items are sold as-is, where-is. A 15% Buyers Premium is applied to each item. All bidders are required to register for a bidder number in order to bid in this online only auction. Bidders are required to provide a credit card number at the time of registration which will be charged for all winning bids at the conclusion of the auction. Accepted credit cards include VISA and MasterCard.
This auction enables an auto-extend feature at 3 minute intervals in the case of competitive bidding in the last 3 minutes of the auction. This prohibits all sniping software and activity. It is necessary to constantly refresh your browser during the last few minutes of the sale so that you are aware of any lot time extensions, as well as during the time extensions as they will continue to extend in 3 minute intervals until competitive bidding ends.
It is recommended that customers use the maximum bid option to avoid confusion at the close of the sale. If two customers place the same maximum amount, the computer will automatically take the first one placed. Once you place a bid in the "your bid" box it immediately goes to that amount.
Once the auction closing time goes into effect the items close out in a 5 item per minute sequential interval unless there is active bidding within the final 3 minutes of the auction and the auto-extended feature is activated. Please take this into consideration while bidding.
